FS Guild

3. Guild Information

a. Prior Guild – Currently an officer of Spirits of Power (Draenor Horde) and have been for 15 months. I have not left as of yet but I am looking at doing a Faction change but want to secure a spot (if possible) on a top Alliance guild before I do that. Before that I was in other raiding horde guilds such as Easily Amused, Mushroom Marauders and Order of the Cobra.

b. Reason for Leaving – I have thoroughly enjoyed Spirits of Power, it has a great foundation at the top with mature raiders. The horde side of this server lacks top horde players and that has been the biggest challenge for our guild with regard to progression. Currently we have a good core group however we have a few members that are immature at times and not completely focused on all attempts. It has been an ongoing challenge but in the end we just don’t have the character pool horde side to get 25 people at the same level of attention, skill and maturity. I have always been a raider and have seen all content since vanilla wow (except Algalon and parts of OLD Naxx).

c. Contact – If you do have a need for a resto shaman and this application draws serious merit I will gladly divulge a contact or two of current guild members for a reference. However at this time I do not want to jeopardize my position unless there is serious consideration of my application.

4. My main spec is resto and since vanilla wow I have played a healer class. First a priest and since mid BC have been a resto shaman. I am more of a riptide/greater/lesser heal then a pure chain heal shaman. We have another resto shaman and normal he takes care of the chain healing. However there are many times I find myself assisting another healer. I am big on cleanse spirit and keeping raid members debuff when it is necessary. For instance Faction Champions require a lot of cleanses and I usually top the meters on that fight for debuffs. Being an officer and a top healer I fill different roles and I am adaptable to many. I am not a spell power whore, I understand the need for mana stamina and work hard at being able to heal through an entire fight without worrying about my mana. My raid buffed casting MP5 is over 700, with just over 800 haste and 3100 spell power. Also I have an ele set that is essentially 25 man Ulduar geared. Until I got the legendary I did moonlight Ele for some fights. Now that I have the legendary I strictly heal.
5. Constructive Criticism – that is how you progress, I have 5 kids of my own so I definitely understand the need for criticism and structure.

6. I am 45 years old and happily married to a wonderful woman that allows me time to raid each week (and then some).
7. Central time zone – I see your raid time is normally T/W/TH 6:30pm - ~11pm server which is perfect for me.
8. I play wow to see all the content and enjoy friendships made online. I will miss my current guild because of some of the friendships I have fostered. However spending many years in the military I am adept and finding new friends and new relationships. Also I would like to see the world of the Alliance once again. If you are looking for a reliable raider (missed 3 raids in my current guild in 15 months) that is mature, focused and will come prepared every night I am right here. With Icecrown coming online soon I want to get into a guild that will see the endgame and content as it is meant to be seen. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I am posting here strictly for informational purposes. I am also an officer with SoP, the guild Rizer was in. (He left without so much as a word or forum post this evening)

Rizer is speaking the truth about his time in SoP, and we had some good times over the past 15 or so months. And he is also correct that hard times have come as far as recruitment, but we have had some god progression none-the-less. However it is my experience that this is not his reason for leaving. Recently he caused some issues when he openly complained about loot, the administration of loot rules, and the dkp costs of items, all of which were things he had agreed upon, and helped establish, as an officer. He also complained that he was getting passed, in dkp, by newer members because he decided to gear up an alt spec, and felt he shouldn't have to spend the kind of dkp other did because it was an alt spec.

Rizer also has a very strong personality, which can be very useful in a raid environment, however it also has the tendency to rub people the wrong way.

I do want to make it clear this post is not intended as a flame post, it is simply intended as an informational post as to some of the insight i have towards Rizer. If you have any questions, or want any further information please feel free to whisper me in game, I am usually on quite frequently.

Beohoof is correct about my current complaints about loot and dkp system. The only part that he isn't aware of is that I did wrote a lengthy personal email to the guild leader explaining that I was leaving. I do have a strong personality and of late it has been frustrating at times but thats part of life and the game.

I have nothing to hide so please see me in game and we can chat. I don't want your guild to bring me on board if you have doubts. I understand at this level how careful you must be to get the right people.

Beohoof digging to find out where I went should tell you a little about he intentions. I will miss SoP and wish them the best of luck. Thanks again for your consideration.
